Remembrance Day
Today we honour those brave men
Who fought and gave their all;
To give us our freedom
In battle they did fall.
And so today we think of them
With pride and admiration,
For bravely fighting enemies
To save our beloved nation.
Now every year we celebrate
With wreaths and poppies galore,
Lest we forget those men who died
In the first and second world wars.
To those who survived the horror
And came back home again,
With spirits low and missing limbs
We give thanks and praise to them
