Harbour Authority of Fortune
The port of Fortune has a Custom Office located in its own building where the St. Pierre & Miquelon Ferry docks. Fortune is the only port of entry left in Fortune Bay and will surely remain with the Ferry traffic back and forth from St. Pierre & Miquelon.
Fuel can be arranged for delivery by truck.
Fresh water is available, there is a small dockage fee and power charges. Power is available on the Fisherman's Wharf and at Miquelon.
Washrooms, showers, and laundry facilities are available for a small fee.
Services are available through the Marine Service Centre which is equipped with a 150 tonne Travel Lift.
The town offers one major Grocery Store with a Hardware Department and ATM; Convenience Stores; Dining Establishments; Souvenir Shops; Bakery with fresh breads, biscuits and cookies daily; Service Station that also carries propane and ice; Rent-A-Wreck; Post Office; Building Supply centre; Barber Shop; Hairdressing Salons; a Library offering Internet services is located in the Town Hall. There are also several of licensed clubs and a number of unique Tourist Attractions.
