RECREATION COMMISSION

The Fortune Recreation Commission was incorporated in February 1978. It holds various events/activities throughout the year, such as:

 

• Winter Carnival

• Volunteer Week

• Appreciation Night

• Active Living Week

• Fortune Day

• Summer Program

• Summer Festival

• Summer Games

• Bonfire night,

• Tree Light-up, etc.

Also, it makes donations to various sporting groups. Along with the Fortune Town Council & Fortune Volunteer Fire Dept. We hold fireworks on Canada Day and New Year's Eve.
